Art and Anthropologie…
As I have probably mentioned more than once here on this site…I LOVE Anthropologie. (Don’t know Anthropologie? CLICK HERE and be prepared for a treat!)
Not only are the clothes, home furnishings and knick-knacks “sigh-worthy” in every sense of the word, but their presentations in-store and the visual stories that their catalogues weave are truly wonderful.
And now, they’ve given me one more reason to love them which I just had to share. For all of the artists and lovers of the hand-made…please rush and CLICK HERE
It’s called Bound Together, and its an exhibit of handmade artists’ books from members of Anthropologie’s own staff from across the country. I think its great that they’ve taken the time to acknowledge the talents of their employees and better yet to showcase them on-line and in a gallery showing.
The exhibit is currently being shown in NYC in their gallery at Rockefeller Center. Unfortunately, I won’t be getting to New York this summer, but for those of you who do, please drop by the exhibit and just let me know if it is as wonderful as I think it will be.
